Level 1 training is where it all begins. This course covers the fundamentals of how to safely and properly assemble a bolted flange joint.

The materials covered in this course correspond with the General Health and Safety Precautions covered in ASME PCC-1 Appendix A-2.3(a). Also covered are the principles of the correct practice of flange assembly, including: 

• Safe Assembly and Disassembly
• Tightening and Pre-Tightening
• Lubrication
• Alignment
• Stud installation 
• Gasket installation
• General inspection of flange facings
